Shipping & Delivery

 Placing your order on-line

Placing an order could not be easier.  Browse our website, you will see under the heading products all the categories/items you can purchase in our on-line store.  Click on any of the categories  and the product /(s) you wish to purchase, click on the image to enlarge it and give you full details of the product description.  click on "add to cart". You can  continue to browse other products or "proceed to checkout"

When you have finished your selection of products,  At this point you can easily make any quantity adjustments you need to make.  Just change the quantity to what you would like and click on the “Update Quantity “ button.

You will then proceed through 4 simple steps allow you to buy.  STEP 1  Express checkout  " where you can register an account with us or check out as a guest.  STEP 2 is where you enter your billing details.  STEP 3 is where you enter your shipping details, STEP 4 is the final step where you select your shippping method and the last step is ORDER CONFIRMATION. 

The order confirmation contains details of your order and displays an order confirmation number.  Please print this page or take note of the number for your records.  If you have provided us with an email address you will receive an email to confirm we have received your order and a second email when it has been despatched and payment processed. 

Payment

We accept all major debit and credit cards including; Visa, MasterCard, Laser and Maestro cards for on-line shopping.   We also accept cheques, postal orders and bank drafts to the value of your order.  Please contact us regarding this method of payment on 053 9171777.  Credit card transactions will not be carried out on your credit card until your order is packed and ready for dispatch.  Orders will be despatched when payment methods are fully processed and cleared.

Invoice

If you would like to set up an account with us or if you require an invoice for your order, please contact us and we will arrange to process the invoice and email it back to you or dispatch it with your order. (For accounts purposes our billing confirmations have the relevant vat rates displayed ) Please contact Joanne Morrissey on  053 9171777 or email; info@wexfordpictureframing.ie  in relation to accounts administration. 

Pricing/Currency/VAT

All prices on the website are in euro currency and include vat. The standard vat rate of 21% applies to most products ( except for  books, or art classes are at the rate of 0%,  limited edition prints & originals are at the vat rate of 13.5% ) Where applicable the delivery charges will be displayed in your online checkout. We will endeavour to ensure that all prices on the website are correct. 

The prices quoted are valid at that time of placing order and are subject to change. Due to circumstances beyond our control, prices may have to be altered up or down, including any alternation to the value added tax or currency fluctuations.   In the event that there is a price change we will notify you before your order is dispatched.

Web special offers

Items promoted as “Web special Offers” on-line will be valid for a certain period of time and are for website orders only. These prices are not available at our retail outlet.

Delivery Charges

When you place an order the cost of delivery if applicable will be added to the price and will be clearly shown.  The delivery is calculated  based on the weight & dimensions of your order.  The delivery rates for An Post standard post, registered post  and An Post  Couriers can be viewed on www.anpost.ie  home page under the heading of postal rates.  Alternatively for certain overseas countries we will use an international courier service such as DPD for shippping.   Please note that in certain countries, there may be additional customs tariffs and taxes imposed when accepting a delivery.  These charges are not included in our pricing and vary from country to country.

Shipping & Delivery

All orders are shipped immediately when the payment has been cleared and goods are in stock.   We can ship to virtually  any address in the world.  Note : that there are restrictions on some products that cannot be shipped to certain international destinations.  When you place an order, we will by order confirmation estimate shipping and delivery dates for you based on the availability of products  and the shipping options you choose.  Please note shipping companies rates are weight-based.  To reflect the policies of shipping companies we use, all weights will be rounded up to the next full pound.  

Wexford Picture framing reserves the right to choose the packaging and shipping method depending on the weight of the product, value of the product ie a piece of art and the method most suited to ensure the condition of the product arrives to the customers satisfaction.  All goods leave our premises in perfect condition and we do not accept responsibitiliy for goods damaged by an post or our courier.

Estimated delivery times are as follows:

Within Ireland  -  3 to 6 days

United Kingdom   -  3 to 8 days

Continental Europe - 5 to 9 days

US and Canada   -  8 to10 days

Rest of World  -  10 to 17 days

Where possible we will try to adhere or even better these lead times. Certain products have longer delivery lead- times which is stated in the product description. Some of our limited editions will be shipped from other galleries via the UK and the States.   In the unlikely event that we cannot fulfil your order in the time frame promised we will contact you immediately to inform you of the delay. 

Registered post within Ireland requires a signature for delivery.  If you are not in when they try and deliver, a note will be left, informing you that your order is in your local post office.  All orders shipped by An Post couriers will be delivered during business hours and are delivered between Monday to Friday.

Signature for deliveries

An Post Couriers and other courier services require a signature for parcels delivered. If you expect to be out when the delivery is due, please advise, us of an alternative address to which your order can be delivered.  Be sure to include your daytime telephone number, preferable a mobile number with all orders.

Collection of web orders in store.

Website orders can be collected in our shop at 94 South Main Street, Wexford by special arrangement only.  If you would like to arrange this, please contact us on  053 9171777 or email info@wexfordpictureframing.ie .Wexford Picture Framing  reserves the right not to allow this request by a customer.

Product Description

Wexford Picture Framing takes great care with the descriptions of the products, as they appear online.  Every reasonable care will be taken to ensure that  descriptions are accurate.  However descriptions are subject to change and Wexford Picture Framing cannot be held responsible for discrepancies either real or perceived.

Order Errors & Additions

If you have spotted an error in your order (eg product you did not want ) or if you would like to add extra  products please PHONE us as soon as possible.  You can contact us on 053 9171777 or 00353 53 9171777 (outside Ireland)

Cancelling an order Placed

If after placing an on-line order you wish to cancel your order, you can do so at any time prior to the order being despatched.  If you do wish to cancel your order you will need to contact us as soon as possible on 053 9171777.  Do not email an order cancelation to us in case of delays.

Goods out of Stock

If you place an order and the goods are out of stock or product discontinued we will inform you ASAP via email or telephone.  Wexford Picture Framing's stock status is constantly updated, however due to demand of certain products being very high or being a limited edition or other unforeseen circumstances beyond our control,  we may occasionally run out of stock on a popular products. If for this reason, we cannot dispatch your order we will contact you with a revised dispatch date. 

Damaged Goods

If goods arrive damaged, customers are requested to do the following:

  1. DO NOT sign for the goods
  2. Report damage to the driver and sign the delivery docket “goods damaged”
  3. Email us an immediate written report of the damage and forward a photo to us of the damaged goods email: info@wexfordpictureframing.ie
  4. We will lodge the claim with the courier

Returns/Refund Policy

We want to ensure you are satisfied with the quality of our goods, but if anything does not meet with your satisfaction, please inform us by email; info@wexfordpictureframing.ie or phone 053 9171777.   We will do our upmost to see if the problem can be resolved without incurring unnecessary postal charges.  Please find details  of our Returns/Refund Policy :

  • You may return new, unopened products within 8 days of delivery for full refund
  • We are unable to accept back new goods which have been damaged or destroyed or are otherwise not re-saleable, including dampness to the item. 
  • Goods returned must be in original packaging
  • All Goods leave our premises in perfect condition
  • Returns Address:  Wexford Picture Framing, 94 South Main Street, Wexford.

If you receive an incorrect or defective product from us, please note the following.

  • You are entitled to repairs, replacement or refund for the product.
  • Goods must be returned within 8 days of receipt
  • We will pay the return shipping costs
  • Goods must have accompanying receipt and note of reason for return
  • All damaged items must be highlighted to us within 7 working days.
  • Any other shortages/errors found regarding your order must be highlighted to us within 7 working days
  • In the instance that the wrong product was shipped to you, please  contact us before sending it back and we will arrange the appropriate shipping label for returns. (some of our products are shipped directly from the UK or the States)
  • To notify us on-line, login to your account, view the order using the “Complete Orders” link under My Account Menu and click the return item(s) button.  We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item
  • Your refund should reach you with 2 weeks  from the date we receive the returned product.

*Please note that if items are refunded you shoud ask for proof of postage from your post office as we reserve the right to refuse a refund if an item is lost whilst being returned*

Complaints Procedure

We pride ourselves on our quality of customer service.
